Ireland; Land of Debt & Taxes

What are the cosseted in Finance really at I wonder?

Could it be that Finance are merely safeguarding their own salaries (and pensions) by any means, with the Dáil muppets compliant?

The Taoiseach and his lackeys have stated that the charge is the only option available to pay for local services. (the bulk of which are contracted services these days)

Where did all the savings go that local councils heaped upon themselves by dumping all those staff replaced by the contractors?

What am I missing here?

Or; how much for instance does one quango cost?

How many quangos do we currently finance?

Why does this little island have thirty-six Chief Fire Officers with full administrative facilities?

What is changing?

Anything?

Who, or what, is running this country?

A little statistic – from thestory.ie
